The Young Ghost
Once upon a time there was a ghost who always isolated himself on halloween because he was afraid of children.
But one day he was filled with courage and finally came out of his hiding place. As he looked at the landscape that he had never seen before, his fear was disappearing little by little. He met other ghosts and now he is no longer alone.
While he was making up for the time he lost, the moon turned dark soon since it is autumn.
His new friends accompanied him back home as he passed by that dark and cold corner where he always was, he realized that something changed.
When he got home he realized how good it feels to be free of all those fears, sadness and loneliness.

The Masks We Wear Project
Mediums used: Studio clay, paint and glaze
Dimensions:
-Height =4 inches.
-Length = 9 3/4 inches.
-Width = 6 1/2 inches.
Description: The purpose of this project was to create a mask that identifies us either by showing an insecurity that we have or feelings that we do not show.
Mask Reflection:
The mask that I wear, for this project I decided to use an unrealistic mask of a white cat's face that represents feminine beauty and how delicate a woman should be in the eyes of society, but also shows how adventurous and curious she can be. be a woman
The red rose that emerges from the forehead represents the delicacy, elegance, attraction and passion that a lady has to demonstrate.
The water that comes out in the form of tears represents depth, life, changes in feelings or sadness.
The wall made of blocks symbolizes the obstacles and problems that, as women, we have to face in order to achieve a goal. The glazed objects in the mask demonstrate what society wants to see from us as women.
The painted skin under the cat mask is the original basis of every woman to whom society adds objects to be seen as many others want.
Something new that I learned from this project is that society will always be dissatisfied, society is never satisfied with what we offer and always demands unrealistic things that transform us into an unrealistic version of ourselves... A false mask of what we are.

Ceramics
Being a student in the Intermediate Clay class was an honor as I learned many new techniques on how to make ceramics even though I didn't master the pottery wheel, but I had fun creating them.
